Gabriel Everest had a simple plan; infiltrate, attack, exfiltrate. Unfortunately, his target had a major complication in the person of Dr. Miranda Gray. Blowing the target would have to wait until he could rescue the hostage, but saving the girl and getting away without alerting the opposition is harder than it sounds when she’s determined to take direct action of her own.
Miranda had no hope of rescue. The captive aid worker’s only hope was to survive long enough to destroy the facility she was held in, a facility that contained a deadly virus she’d been captured to treat and vaccinate her captors against. Her life seemed like a small price to pay to prevent the deaths biological warfare would cause.
She didn’t count on Gabriel swooping in to save her. And neither of them planned on incendiary passion that leaves their hearts in jeopardy after the danger passes.
