And yes, the site's had a makeover. Since I'm mainly writing urban fantasy/paranormal romance now, I think the look suits the tone and some practical issues have been addressed, like the difficulty of reading text on a dark background and in a 3-column layout. Let me know what you think!

Its a better color, much easier to read and does reflect part of your work but its missing the romance part now. Needs some hunky creatures in it, somehow :)
I was studying the background, i do some website design, it appears tiled so adding something there wouldn't work i think. Only place I could see would be where your name is at the top. Right now its a faded graphic, it might be possible to merge some hunky guy or guys or even girl and guy into that, to give it that added edge to make the site pop. Of course, this is all my humble opinion and likely won't be the majority. :)

Marie, glad you're finding it easier to read! That was my main concern, since the site's so text-intensive. Nobody wants to go blind trying to read a first chapter of a book.
I know it doesn't look terribly romantic as a design, but the city background reflects contemporary settings and the book covers rotating at the top of the site should cover the romance angle. *g* Lots of hunks, there!
