As you know, Amazon and Macmillan, publisher of fine books including 5 by yours truly, are facing off and while Amazon has said they will see things Macmillan's way, you currently cannot buy Macmillan titles from Amazon except via 3rd parties. Like, your aunt Sue is selling her used copy of Wild Wild West, but there might be chocolate smudges on page 96. You cannot get a new copy, and that's just not right.
So today I offer you the chance to win your own lovely, pristine copy of Wild Wild West.
Comment away, and I'll pick a winner this evening. US residents please because we're all in boxes here and can't cope with international postage on top of that.
Edited to add: Fedora is the winner! Congrats and please send me your mailing address.

Put me in the drawing! Wild Wild West is one of the few I haven't read!
Amazon has been on my naughty list for a while. I'll pay more to order from BN.com and others because I'm sort of sick of Amazon always creating issues that do nothing for the reader (remember the whole blow up with the erotic-type titles not being searchable?).

That is just not right... Amazon wants to be the only game in town, but wants to limit our selections?? What kind of crap is that? Brilliant way to show them what's what...

Thanks, guys. I'm so disappointed in Amazon's tactics here; readers who go to buy these books don't know the imprint is under the Macmillan umbrella, and they simply appear to be out of stock or out of print. I don't even want to guess how many sales this is costing all of the affected authors. I hope this gets straightened out quickly.
In the meantime, via Random.org's random number generator, the winning comment is #3, Fedora. Fedora, please send me your mailing address and I'll send your copy of Wild Wild West. Which is not out of print, really.
