The moving truck did arrive, and since the Great Unloading there has been a Great Unpacking. This means I have been AFK all week except for checking email here and there. Can you believe there's no damn app for unpacking? Do I not live in the future?
Anyway. Doing things the manual way is time-consuming but the house is looking like a house. There are still kid and office boxes that need unpacking, and a garage that would make my father scream in agony so we'll have to fix that before he gets here, but we are on track to be back to Business as Usual after Labor Day, which was the plan. Back to school, back to writing, back to work!
In the meantime, I need to vacuum up a mountain of cardboard dust and haul more boxes to recycling. I want an app, dammit.
