1. There is nothing like a sick kid to put everything else in life right into perspective. (She's doing much better today. Love you, antibiotics and steroids.)
2. The new office is the best office I've ever had and better than I even dreamed of having. I feel like the luckiest writer on earth every time I walk in there.
3. Ditto the kitchen.
4. Ditto the yard. I am already plotting garden placement.
5. If I didn't already have enough reasons to love life in the country, this would clinch it; the bus picks up and drops off right at our driveway.
